Hi! I’m Lauren Dunne, MA CCC-SLP and I am so glad you are here! I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience working in the home care setting with infants, children and adults with complex medical needs. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from Loyola University Maryland and earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from CUNY Queens College.

I found my passion for Speech-Language and Feeding Therapy through my desire to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and to support and guide families through their journey. I love working with children in the home care setting because it creates an environment where strong family connection can form, which helps to achieve the best possible therapeutic outcomes.

Through my experience, I have helped infants and children with a variety of feeding and swallowing difficulties and children with speech and language delays/disorders, including individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication devices. All of this has helped me to develop my own unique philosophy and technique, which incorporates play-based and child-led intervention approaches.
